Our client is a contract engineering workshop providing fabrication services to a wide range of customers within market sectors such as oil & gas, heavy engineering, marine, transport and manufacturing.
They are part of a prominent Scottish business group with a fantastic reputation, who are known for being astute, stable and an excellent local employer and investor in the community.
Demonstrable quality experience gained within engineering / manufacturing sectors is essential. You will be confident and outgoing in your approach; someone that others will buy into and support thanks to your ability to build a good rapport with your peers and communicate at all levels.
Your role will be to take charge of and manage the entire quality function and champion this throughout the business. Thanks to significant investment and hard work you’ll be inheriting a well-run, well-organised and up-to-date quality system and will be plugging into an established team that understands the importance and benefits of keeping quality at the forefront of everything they do.
You’ll be a central figure within the business management team, reporting directly to the MD and working alongside department managers as well as interfacing with external customers.
